Base-e logarithms.

# negative exponents:

For each nonzero number a and for each positive integer n, a^-n = 1/a^n.

# negative reciprocals:

Two numbers having a product of - 1.

# negative square root:

The negative of the principal square root.

# negative square root function:

The function with the equation y= -Öx

# network:

A set of points (vertices) connected by arcs.

# nonequivalent transrormation:

A transformation that results in an equation not equivalent to the original.

# nonlinear system:

A system of two or more equations at least one of which is nonlinear.
