     National Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Convention was held during the first week of August in the windy city Chicago.   Again, Vestavia Hills High School Math Team had won the first place in overall team competitions.  This is Vestavia's 9th champion in past ten years. 

     What makes this team so good?   It is practice.  All the members of the Vestavia Hills Math Team have been working hard throughout the entire school year.  They have even dedicated their summers to the mathematics practices.  The creators at the Math Planet again congradulate the Vestavia Hills High School Math Team for its outstanding performance!
