Major Seventh Chords
Creating major seventh chords is a type of chord modification which will allow for a more complete sounding progression. Although the major seventh chords are frequently used, they can help produce a richer sounding chord to add to your chord knowledge.
For the majority, major seventh chord are formed by a slight re-fingering of the original chord. The following chord diagrams are common major sevenths.
