"On Sunday, March 2, in
my parish in Magallanes, I talked about 'People Power Is Prayer Power.' I said that prayer
touches the hearts of people. As an illustration, I spoke about the pilot who was
instructed to strafe Crame but had a change of heart and defected to the rebels instead.
After my homily, four men followed me to the rectory. The first man introduced himself:
'Father, you talked abou the pilot who defected. I am that pilot. I am Colonel Antonio
Sotelo. My family and I come to Magallanes every Sunday."
