Medical School Information.

If you are serious about applying to medical school, get a copy of the Medical School Admission Requirements handbook published annually by Association of American Medical Colleges.  It provides current information not only about admissions, but financial aid and individual schools.  There are also many excellent sites on the web that discuss medical schools, the medical school application process, and medical education in general.

The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) website is the best place to start searching for information.  It has a very good Guide for High School Students who are considering becoming a physicians.

The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) and the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA) both maintain websites.  The SOMA site is especially comprehensive.

Kaplan and Princeton Review both have sites that discuss the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT).  The Princeton Review site has other good information about both choosing a medical school and being a medical student.

Erick's Guide to Medical School Admissions discusses the process in detail as does the Medical School Admissions Apprentice

Medical School Interview Information is collected by Johns Hopkins University.

The Medical Education Ring includes about 70 sites of interest to medical students.

Healthcare Related Graduate Programs

Many universities offer healthcare related graduate programs at the master's and/or doctoral level.

Gradschools.com maintains a Health Related Graduate School Index with current links to most programs.
