  This is a picture of my grandpa's ship and some of the routes that he took to get the US Army over to wherever they were stationed to fight.

  Small Bibles and a prayer book were important because this is what they used to pray by throughout the war.

The maps of Operation Market and Operation Neptune were given to officers. These are briefing maps which list how many casualties there are expected to be, where you move after you land, and other facts. My grandfather was a
captain in charge of 150 men.
