Do the job he left behind!

To make it possible for people utilizing the Families Simulation to have experiences like that found on the homefront, we developed the Fates Applet, a Java applet which randomly chooses a Fate for one or all of the family members. The Fates Applet can be used for journal writing or just for fun. We hope you enjoy the Fates Applet and find it useful. Any suggestions for improving the applet or suggestions of fates should be e-mailed to 15511@advanced.org.

Here you can obtain the fates in a form possible to print. You can cut out these fates for use off-line.

Notes on Using the Fates Applet:

The fates applet was written using Sun Microsystems' Java Development Kit 1.0.2, making it compatible with most Java capable browsers. However, Netscape's Java Virtual Machine (JVM) does not load the Fates applet in the Simulation section as smoothly as other JVM implementations. You may have to wait for it to do its task and it will run adequately.
