| Joachim von Ribbentrop was Hitler's foreign minister during World War II. He was responsible for negotiating the Rome-Berlin-Tokyo Axis and German-Soviet non-aggression pact of 1939. He continued to serve Hitler's foreign minister until 1945 when Germany was defeated and he was, arrested, tried, and hanged for conspiring to engage aggressive war. |
