Books are weapons in the war of ideas!

Norway:
Norway, like many of its neighbors, began the war proclaiming neutrality. However, when the Allies mined Norwegian coastal waters to stop German naval activity there, Germany invaded Norway on August 9, 1940. A puppet German government was set up, but they met with great resistance. A government in exile was set up in London by the leaders of the previous government. This government in exile worked closely with resistance movements to prepare to return to power when Norway was liberated. It finally was liberated on May 8, 1945, and the death penalty was legalized to punish traitors who had supported the German occupation.
