Books are weapons in the war of ideas!

London:

London, as the British center for government, was a key target for German attacks, and a key Allied staging area. A great deal of the European war effort was carried out in London, including preparations for the D-Day invasion. London was severely bombed between the fall of 1940 through the summer of 1941. During this period over 10,000 casualties were sustained, and classic landmark buildings such as the Tower of London and the Houses of Parliament were damaged or destroyed.
