Books are weapons in the war of ideas!

Dresden, Germany:

Dresden is a city located in Germany that was famous in World War II because of the its controversial firebombing. The United States air force unleashed a vicious incendiary attack upon Dresden, destroying almost the entire city. However, critics claim that the attack was unnecessary. When it was attacked, it was already clear that Germany was going to lose the war. Dresden was not a military target; it had been one of the cultural centers of Europe prior to World War II. It is hypothesized that the United States bombed Dresden simply to intimidate Stalin, showing him that he should not attempt to advance too far west.
