Books are weapons in the war of ideas!

Czechoslovakia:

Prior to World War II, Czechoslovakia was split when the Sudetenland was ceded to Germany in 1938 under the provisions of the Munich Pact, despite the fact that there was no representative from Czechoslovakia at the Munich Conference. Soon after, however, Germany ended up invaded the rest of Czechoslovakia, and provided Poland and Hungary with territories that they had long considered disputed. Czechoslovakia was occupied by German forces with almost no resistance until the end of the war. When Czechoslovakia was reestablished in 1945, it had a strong Communist section in the government. Because of the betrayal of the Western powers at Munich in 1938, Czechoslovakia chose to align with the USSR following World War II. Soon after there was a bloody civil war, and the Communists came out victorious, and Czechoslovakia became a satellite nation of the USSR.
