Atlantic Charter:

The Atlantic Charter was the proclamation of the goals of the United States and Great Britain after World War II. It stressed the animosity of territorial gains as a result of the war, proclaimed self-determination in all nations, recognized freedom of the seas, and wanted all nations to be free from fear of aggression. This charter was, used as the basis for some of the fundamental principles of the United Nations, and a statement promising adherence to this charter was signed by the 26 nations at war with the Axis.
