About WWII: The Homefront

World War II: The Homefront is a website designed by Jacob Crouch, Ben Gould, and Scott Hays for ThinkQuest, an educational web site building contest for high school kids world wide. We felt the need to bring educational material on this topic to the Internet, a dynamic way of teaching people anywhere on the planet. We hope that you enjoy this site and learn something from it as well. Also, be sure to check out our Acknowledgments page for information on the sources used on this site.

Supported Browsers:

Netscape Navigator Microsoft Internet Explorer Apple Cyberdog

The latest versions of these browsers have been tested and gave the best results. Using Netscape 3.x yielded adequate results with the exception of a line of text at the top of a select few pages. Despite several efforts to correct this problem, some pages still display this irritating line at the top. No functionality is compromised and we shall endeavor to correct the problem as soon as possible. It does not affect other versions of Navigator or other tested browsers. Any browser not listed here or is a version below that which has been tested cannot be guarunteed to run this site properly. However, since the site runs on Cyberdog 2.0, a 2 year old browser, most browsers available should not have any trouble with the site.
