Welcome to PhoolProof Physics!
This site is jam-packed full of your favorite subject:
Physics (even if it isnt, we hope it will be).
PhoolProof Physics is primarily designed to teach
you some Physics you can rely on, in an interesting way. If
you survive our entire site, you can consider yourself
a Super Physicist! We know you just cant wait to start,
but before you do, let us tell you a little bit about the
different parts of our site:
Units: This is the largest part of our site, and is where
you will learn most of the physics you will need to know. You
can choose where to begin learning from among eight Physics
topics:Kinematics, Kinetics, Work
Energy Momentum, Circular Motion, Waves, Electromagnetism, Electronic
Systems, and Optics. The units are subdivided into bite-sized sections
and cross-indexed for your convenience. Go here and you are already on your way to understanding a
world of Physics.
Applications: This part of our site shows you more real life uses
for the Physics concepts you learned in the Units. You will
see that Physics is definitely not just for the classroom.
Reports: "He was the best at Physics, he was the worst
at Physics . . ." Find out how you are at Physics
Links: Even though we have provided you with access to
quite a lot of Physics ideas, you can always learn more! This
part of the site includes links to university Physics
programs, and other Physics links we thought you might enjoy,
or find useful.
Games: Help our little furry friend survive the perils of
the cliff-covered country he is stuck in by being a Super
Physicist. Choose from three levels of difficulty, but watch
out driving off a cliff is not as easy as it looks!
Boards: Do you have an
interesting Physics problem you would like to share? Do you
have an answer? Or just something you want to say? Go to this
page to see what others have said about PhoolProof
Physics, the subject in general, or just about life.
You can also post your own messages here.
Credits: Now that you have spent so much time at this site,
you probably want to know who to thank. Go to this part to
learn more about the people who put this site together, and
about the people and things that helped them along the way.
