When I found this site I was thrilled to bits. Here was a place to refer my students to. It is wonderful that you can compact so much information into this site and yet keep it brief enough for one to get an overview of all aspects of music. There was one small item that I did disagree with however. The section on music theory states that the time signature is a fraction. There is a great error in this thinking. The time signature does not have a short line between the numbers as does a fraction nor does it have a mathematical function i.e. a numerator or denominator. It is simply a musical symbol that tells one how to count the music. Please reconsider your wording in this area. Thank you, Vicky

Well I must say it is about time someone put a site on the net for us muso's. I have recently moved to london from Manchester due to a new teaching post and feel that your site will enhance the lessons for my yr10&11 students.
