Grudge Match |
The second touch began with many unsuccessful attacks and failed attempts to gain distance. Rick attempted to fleche. He ended up not hitting the target but instead crashing into Demis. Bodily contact like that in fencing is known as corps-á-corps (French for body to body). Normally, this action only results in a stop in the action, but I had to give rick a yellow-card penalty due to excessive jostling. |

Rick was not very happy with that, so he complained to me. I told him to accept the call. He continued to argue so I issued him a red card and his opponent was given a touch. The score was now two to zero with Demis still in the lead. |

When the next touch began, they both decided to go for a very complicated touch. Demis went for the knee while Rick attempted a toe touch. Both attacks landed at the same time, so a double touch was called. The score was now three to one, still in favor of Demis. |
