WIND SPEED/DIRECTION
These symbols show the wind speed, in knots*, and direction. The flag-like symbol is called the wind barb, and points in the direction from which the wind is blowing. (Cloud cover is shown in the circle.) The wind speed is indicated by the markings on the wind barb. See if you can find a pattern.
