The Sun Spot

--------------

Welcome to The Sun Spot, this portion of the site "The Sun: Man's Friend & Foe" is written especially for kids ages 5-12. It presents a collection of fun and educational activities. Whoa that's a combination! Did you know that the Sun not only provides light and heat; it also helps people in a lot of other ways. We have a lot to tell you about the Sun. So go enjoy The Sun Spot.

The pull down menu will show you all the sections on our site. You can take a virtual tour of the Sun and do some neat activities. We have information on the Sun and how it affects you and about what people used to think about the Sun as well as what scientists have found out about the Sun.

If you have a question go to our FAQ, and if you are looking for information on something specific you can look it up on our search engine.

If you're an older kid or an adult, be sure and check out our main page. Before you leave sign our guestbook and let us know what you think about this site! We hope you enjoy your adventure into the Sun.

You may ask a solar physicist any questions you have about the Sun or solar system. Stanford University has a place where you can do this on their site.

"Most books say our Sun is a star, but it still knows how to change back into a Sun in the daytime."
