Pianists: Thomas Hansen

A self-taught beginning pianist, Thomas Hansen was born in Massachusetts. He began teaching himself pian at the age of four. His teacher was Theodore Lettvin and Thomas LaRatta. In addition,
Thomas Hansen has recorded three programs for "Grand Piano" a television show showing in over two hundred cities worldwide. He has appeared with the Redwood Symphony, the Merced Symphony and the Peninsula Symphony. The Boston Globe has written that his performance "left no doubt about his fluency, and the cleanness and lack of hokum in his lively playing were most commendable." Mr. Hansen is on the faculty of the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, California.
