1929-1980 - Bill Evans of New Jersey was a pianist, composer and arranger. He composed mostly soft, mellow harmonies and intricate voicing
which changed the whole outlook and sound of the piano in jazz music. His playing of Kind of Blue in 1959 with Miles Davis Sextet earned him national recognition.
