Introduction H ello there! Welcome to Music Magic: A Piano Exploration! If you are a first-time
visitor, a special welcome goes out to you. We realize that the Music Magic web site is pretty big (at least we like to think
so - we spent about half a year creating it!) and that you may get confused and lost. We tried to ease this perplexity by creating
a site that is easy to navigate and read. At the same time, we made this site to be fun, powerful and interactive.
We applaud the goals of the ThinkQuest Contest of encouraging the creation
of web sites that utilize the powerful communication abilities of the Internet to promote the spread of educational values. We hope
that our site just scratches that surface...
Before
we go further, download and install the Trebuchet MS font. Our site looks best with this font installed. It is provided free of charge from Microsoft's web site.

What
browser should you use to view Music Magic? It really doesn't matter - our site will work on virtually all
current browsers. However, there are a few older browsers that won't render our site correctly. Here they are:
- Netscape Navigator 2.xx and below (3.xx and 4.xx should work fine)
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 1.xx and below (2.xx, 3.xx, 4.xx and 5.xx should work fine)
- Older versions of Lynx (current version should work fine)
- Older versions of Opera (version 1.0 doesn't work well with our site)
In
order to enjoy our Virtual Concert Hall, you'll need a browser capable of Java. To go through
the online lessons and online piano, you'll need a browser
capable of JavaScript. All pages require a browser that is able to display tables.
