Morphing

Remember when we said you could change your Chevy into a Porsche? Well, we are going to show you how to make this happen through morphing.

STEP 1.gif (10628 bytes)

First of all, you need to get a picture of your Chevy (or whatever else you want to morph). Then you need to get rid of the background in Photoshop (either by erasing everything but the car or by selecting everything but the car and clearing it). Add a simple, one colored background.

STEP2.gif (11264 bytes)

Next, you need to find a picture of a Porsche. Just follow the same directions for step 1 with the Porsche.

blackp2.BMP (180056 bytes)

STEP3.gif (11474 bytes)

Now you need a morphing program. We used a program by North Coast Software called PhotoMorph. We just set our Chevy picture as the start picture and the Porsche picture as the final picture. Then you can view and save the morph. Below is a saved picture of the morph halfway through:

MORPH2.BMP (180056 bytes)

To view our morph click here (it will take a long time to load because the file is over 1.5MB).
