The authors.....

We are the authors of this page, from the wonderful land of Australia (except for our coach James, who is from the United States). We all attend high school at Trinity Bay State High School in Cairns, Queensland. The creation of this page has been a real roller coaster, but as you can see, it is complete and fully functional (except for the Javascript that will do your calculus and physics homework, that didn't get implemented) =P
The three of us are all seniors, who will all graduate hopefully in November, which is the beginning of our summer. All three of us also have access to the internet. And that is where we first met our coach, James. Once upon a time (actually it was only six months ago), we approached him with our desire to enter this Think Quest competition, but we had neither a sponsor at our school nor a coach, and James volunteered to guide us in our quest to well, ur..... think =)
It was very interesting, to have our coach residing 16,000 kilometres away. But the three of us are proud of what we have accomplished, and James is WAY PROUD.... almost too proud sometimes. We struggled, as our only link to the coach was email, and there is also a nine hour difference. Everyone compromised and bent their schedules so that we could all be online and talk about the project.

Corinne Alexander and James McCollum
My name is Corinne Alexander. I am 17 and a senior at Trinity Bay, here in Tropical North Queensland. After graduation I am getting married to my fiance who lives in the United States. YAHOO !!!!!! I like to listen to music, go to parties, and use the internet. I am online just about every day that mum will let me. And Think Quest was a very good excuse for being online, I actually had "a mission." When our coach flew to Australia nearing the end of June, he really gave us the moral boost that it took for us to finish this competition strongly. I should probably add that he is my fiance...... and that is a picture of him. =))))

Richard McInnes
Richard McInnes here. I am also 17, and I am also a senior. I really love sports, along with computer games and the internet too. And the greatest program known to man.... ADOBE PHOTOSHOP =) I have it, and it is totally awesome. I only wish I had gotten it quicker than I did. The team could have really utilized its power more than what we did in the short time that I had it.

Wayne Williams
And saving the best for last, there is me, Wayne Williams. I am 16, but also a senior. Like Rich I really like basketball and sports, and I took to some of the programming and helping the others with the humongous task of research and working on the pages for the web page. I also am in drama here at school, and we are doing a James Bond production, and guess who Bond is? Yours truly.... WOOOO HOOOO (one of my favorite musical groups, Blur). I think Corinne and Richard both would agree that we really enjoyed working on this, it is worth it, we really learned a lot about HTML and CGI and Java and Perl and..... WE LEARNED A LOT =) Oh, and the greatest band in the world is Metallica !!!!
