Our HTML Previewer is designed to allow you to test the HTML that you have learned. The best way to learn HTML is to try it. By actively writing HTML, it will stick with you. You will need a browser that supports Java to use this page such as Netscape
3.0 or higher or Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher.
The HTML Previewer works by allowing you to type your HTML in the text window. If you need help starting your page, click the Start button under Skeleton. This feature gives you a skeleton beginning to your page. Other buttons on the page allow you to
add other HTML tags if you forget what they are. You don't have to use the buttons. In fact, if you can write a page with out them, then you are fairly knowledgable in HTML. When you have finished writing the HTML, you can test it to see if it works. T
o test your page click the test button. This will display another window which will have your web page in it. If it does not work, close the window and edit your HTML. Then click test again to try it out. If it works, congratulations! If you want to sa
ve your web page you need to copy the HTML you typed into the text box. You then must open a word processor document in an appropriate program and paste this data in. Finally, you need to save the word processing document as a text document. Now you can
upload your page and display it on the web. If you need a free web server, visit our free web server page.
