JULY
- Thirty-two different countries discusses refugee policies at the Evians Conference and most of the countries there refuse to take any more Jewish Refugee.
AUGUST
- Jewish men in Germany must add the word "Israel" to their names while Jewish women must add the word "Sarah" to their name.
SEPTEMBER
- On September 29 and 30, Chamberlain, Daladier, Hitler, and Mussolini attended the Munich Conference. There, Britain and France agree to the annexation of part of Czechoslovakia to Germany.
- Laws excludes Jews of industrial enterprises.
- Jewish doctors are stripped of their licenses in Germany while jewish lawyers are banned from practicing law.
- Over 17000 Jews with Polish citizenship were expelled from Germany to the Polish border.
NOVEMBER
- On November 9 and 10, Anti-Jewish riots called Kristallnacht took place in Germany and Austria resulting in thousands of Jews arrested, many synagogues and shops destroyed.
- Germany starts to expel Jewish children from German schools.
- Jews are banned from certain areas in the country and time of public appearance restricted.
- Germany completely eliminated Jews from their economy.
- Ernst vom Rath, a Nazi, was shot by Herschel Grymszpan, a Polish Jew.
