Salt Risk May Have Been Exaggerated

July 15 -- Researchers at the American Heart Association in a medical press conference issued a recommendation that while everyone should limit their salt intake, only those with high blood pressure should significantly cut salt intake.

The researches concluded that cutting out salt from a diet won’t an improvement in health among those not suffering from high blood pressure, and in fact may hurt some people.

They still urged all people to reduce their salt intake, without cutting salt entirely.
