More Veggies

Believe it or not, most Americans, including those under 18, do not eat enough grains and vegetables. This is unfortunate, considering that they are so critical to a healthy diet.

Veggies

Plant foods are generally low in fat (if cooked without high-fat additives), which is great considering you have to eat a lot of them. They are high in fiber, which is vital to the prevention of many serious illnesses of the digestive system. And very importantly, plant foods supply the body with many essential vitamins.

Fruit

Vitamins and minerals, found in abundance in many plant foods, allow your body to function properly. If you are deficient in any of them, you

run the risk of becoming ill and increasing your chances of contracting a chronic illness. Get your vitamins, and you’ll look better, feel better, live healthier.
