Grain Group

The Grain group should be the foundation of your diet. Grains supply lots of energy to you going, without much fat, salt, or sugar, when cooked correctly.

Eat 6-11 servings daily. Seems like a lot, but you can certainly have more than one serving per meal. Your goal should be to get most of you calories from grains. Look for whole grains products whenever possible for added fiber content.
