Team 13779 This is our team's second ThinkQuest entry. Last year, in the 1996 ThinkQuest contest, our team entered a web site on the topic of cellular biology. The Interactive Tour of The Cell won third place in the Science and Mathematics category. We enjoyed the awards event in Washington D.C. very much, and we decided that we would enter again in the ThinkQuest contest. Our team learned an enormous amount about creating web pages and the CGI environment last year, and we are applying it to The Climbing Guide this year.

Saro, our team leader, lives in Lexington, Massachusetts, and attends Lexington High School. Lexington High School, being in close proximity to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is a very technologically advanced school, with high speed Internet access and multiple servers.

Jason also lives Lexington and attends Lexington High School. He enjoys mathematics and is an accomplished pianist.

Ben lives in Palmer, Alaska. He is an avid rock climber and a student at Palmer High School. Palmer is a small agricultural community in south-central Alaska, close to the Talkeetna Mountains.

Our three coaches are Rick Thibeault (Lexington), Diane Eisner (Lexington), and Steve Krueger (Palmer).
