Notable Art Sites - Incredible Art Department

Date: Tue, 18 Feb 2003 22:00:19 -0500
From: "Judy Decker" jdecker@woh.rr.com

Dear Mr. Feld:
I have recently taken over as Web master for Incredible Art Department. I received this message for the former Web master. Unfortunately -- like so many of the ThinkQuest sites -- this one (http://tqnyc.thinkquest.org/NYC00112) is no longer available. If you have another site to recommend -- please send it my way. I am interested in sites of value to art education.

Thank you,

Judy Decker Dear Mr. Feld:

Thank you so much for replying.

> ThinkQuest was taken over by Oracle which necessitated these changes.

I knew that ---but didn't know how to access the great sites that were on ThinkQuest. I will be adding both of the ones you gave me to Great Sites (and my own art education site: http://www.princetonol.com/groups/iad/lessons/middle/ - I have had Mona on it for quite some time). The sites will appear on (later today): http://www.princetonol.com/groups/iad/site_of_week/greatsite.html

Is there still a way to access my other favorites from ThinkQuest? I had so many broken links. On many I just worte that the site was temporarily down.

Do you still have access to the Tut site? (I saw you were the "Team coach") -- The hyperlinks on this page go to the former site addresses: /13681/data/tut/horus.htm -- Regardless - I still enjoyed the "tour".

I hope you like the changes I have made to our Great Sites... I want them all to be of high quality to art educators...and your suggestions certainly fit the bill. I have updated the page: http://www.princetonol.com/groups/iad/site_of_week/greatsite.html

Please forward any more suggestions you have my way. I intend to update the page --and archive the previous ones at least once a month.

Thank you for your interest in Incredible Art Department: http://www.princetonol.com/groups/iad/

Sincerely,
Judy Decker P.S. I will be adding Tut to my own site. too: http://www.princetonol.com/groups/iad/lessons/middle/ancient.htm and will be updating my "Mona" links.

Hi! My name is Young Lee. I am a John F. Kennedy High school student from Bronx, New York. Recently, a few students from my school and I built and created a contest web site for Thinkquest project. It is about the mysterious ancient Egyptian king, King Tutankhamen. I would like to suggest our site to you. I would like you to have our site as one of your "suggested links". If it is possible or you would like more information on our site, please contact me to younglee85@yahoo.co.kr or lee10458@aol.com. Thank you.
