New York Times Workshop

Book SigningScreen writing Workshop was given at Hunter College where participants gave suggestions for Rina's screenplay by examing ways in which the treatment can be enhanced. Some ideas included the Mona Lisa Web Site as part of the treatment.

Dr. Rose Reissman demonstrated ways in which the New York Times website could be used as a language arts tool and a creative way to identify words which defined character education. For twenty minutes participants were asked to find words that began with certain letters.
Rob Larson presents the New York Times Web SiteRob Larson presented the New York Times Website which launched last September. He spoke about the benefits of using the web site in the classroom. He points out the key features from a colorful brochure. He pointed out the ways the New York Times Web Site can be easily integrated into the Social Studies Curriculum. Rob promises to list our site on the NY Times web site shortly. That would be very meaningful.
