Glamour Magazine has select Artic Explorers Ann Bancroft and Liv Arnesen as Women of the Year. The students at John F. Kennedy were invited to the explorers New York City Press conference and mentioned in an article by Associated Press freelance writer Sandra Cohen.

Coach Steve Feld presented the site at the Professional Development Conference "Technology Supported Art Instruction" at the Con Edison Learning Center on April 24 and at the New York City Art Teachers Association Art Works 2001 "An Art Education Odyssey" on Saturday November 10 at LaGuardia High School in New York City.
