To: sjfeld@erols.comHi Steve,
I really appreciate the vote of confidence... and gladly accept the award... but with a tinge of guilt in my voice... I have been swamped with about 5 major internet projects and Dave's Faves has fallen behind in the last 3-4 weeks. Just this week, the Office of Information Technology at East Tennessee State University has agreed to set up a team of technical staff who will assist part time with keeping the site running, up to date and to help me answer the many technical questions that people submit each day. At that time, we may move Dave's Faves to www.etsu.edu/dave'sfaves.com - but we have not decided exactly where the new location will be. At such time as the site is re-located, I will notify you immediately. I am just racing to get some online assignments graded and then will stop by to pick up the award!!! I will post it temporarily on the main navigation page and permanently in the awards section and link it back to your award program. Again, with my thanks!David

Dear Kimberly,
Thank you for your concern. My family, staff and I are all well.
As we reflect on the tower disaster, we think about how Leonardo the futurist, with his visions of flight would have reacted to the ways in which flight, instead of being used to mirror man's aspirations for adventure and knowledge, can be used as a tool for deliberate destruction, decimation and devastation.
I would be pleased to contribute a lesson plan for your web site.
Warm regards,
Steve

To: sjfeld@erols.comSteve,
I've just finally had the chance to check my "Homeroom Teacher" email today so I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. Also, please let me extend my thoughts and prayers to you in New York for the horrible injustice that has happened in your city. Here in Canada, throughout our country we have been keeping Americans close at heart. Today at the High School where I teach all 1400 students and 100 staff had a prayer vigil remembering those who were lost.
I will most definately look into the site you are recommending. I hope to update "Homeroom Teacher" tomorrow and will add your site after review. Thank you for your suggestion.
Take care,
Chris Edwards

To: sjfeld@erols.comHi Steve...
Happy to hear all is well and thank you for the award :)
If memory serves me correctly, your students created and continue to develop your site... I'm happy to see it's still progressing along... I believe students are our future... and it's people like you who lift them up and inspire them to follow their dreams.
I'll be changing ArtQuest around in about 3 months again... will be removing the Awards Arena and most likely changing the Featured Artist area to a new area as well since everyone seems to be doing features these days... The highest compliment paid is when someone takes your work and copies it :) So, it's time to come up with some new "stuff" once again :) The Awards Arena will most likely be removed but I'll try to get your logo posted there for atleast the next few months :)
Thank you again for the award... I do hope everyone is doing well...
Kat
