Mona Lisa Site meets ground rules of NGfL

===========================================================

Why is the Mona Lisa Smiling has met the ground rules for the National Grid for Learning. It received a passing grade and will next undergo a technical check.

History Channel Inspired King Tut Project

===========================================================

My students' King Tut project was inspired by the History Channel recent airing of The Ancient Egypt Series and our Brazil collaboration.

I have always been fascinated by ancient world cultures, particulary the curse of Tut. In preparation in engaging my inner city students in world culture studies I taped this series at home.

Opon review of the series I realized that it would serve as a catalyst for providing my students with compellingly presented primary sources, in an engrossing format.

My advanced placement computer graphics were so motivated by the screening, they used this cable source material for inspiration and knowledge base for developing their new ThinkQuest NYC.

The Curse of Tut : Fact or Myth has received an i-Class AA rating. this article explains how the new project was developed. /13681/data/millennium/tutcable.htm

The traveller does not know if the man will lie or tell the truth.

What question must he ask to get to safety?

Answer next month

Last month's puzzle:

Brothers and sisters I have none, but that man's father is my father's son. How is that man related to me?

==============================================================================

Hi Steve.
Thanks, it would be great for you to add a link and highlight the concept in the August Newsletter.

I also appreciate the concept proposed by Vebjorn Sand. /13681/data/millennium/bridge.htm

I am putting this Triple Towers concept out there to see what type of response there is from the public....I am also open to any additional concepts you might have as to how to proceed further with the ideas.....
