Mona Lisa Project Presented in Los Angeles
August 10, 1999

Siggraph'99 Conference Los Angeles Convention Center August 8, 1999 Steve Feld, Data Coordinator and Computer Graphic Instructor at John F. Kennedy High School, Bronx NY is Head Coach of the Why is the Mona Lisa Smiling Project.
An electric Praxinoscope was used to display the Mona Morph using the oldest Animation Machine at Siggraph'99. So appropriate since we used 15 year old Tandy Computers to create the site which is accessible with all browsers.
The Conference brought together exceptional creative visionaries, industry leaders, academic professionals and technology innovators in the field of Computer Graphics and interactive media. A worldwide ethnically diverse audience of 60,000 attended.Steve Feld, Head Coach of the ThinkQuest Team presented a Workshop, Classroom Session and participated in the Electronic Schoolhouse Playground. On display, an Edison Praxinoscope prototype showing a live Mona Morph. The web site was created with 15 year old computers

Steve Feld, Throughout my extensive exploration of cyberspace, I have found great educational webpages, but your website definitely exceeds my expectations. As an educator and a student of instructional technology, I see
that your students are blessed to have a great mind guiding their learning. It
will be my great honor and pleasure to link my humble website to your
fantastic educational site. Thank you for bringing Leonardo Davinci's music
back to life! Great work!!!!!!!
