To: sjfeld@erols.comHi Steve,
I visited your site and and found it very interesting. I especially like the quizzes that you both host and link to. I loved the animated gif that morphs from Mona Lisa into Leonardo, that truly is great.
I'd be happy to host your site on our Featured Site Of The Month page.I had a great time on your site and I'm sure that our visitors will alsoenjoy it. You have a incredible number of awards which have been earned. http://www.wpcug.com/featured.htmI was also wondering how you came across our site. Was it referred to you? Which search engine did you use? What was the search string? Etc.
Thanks Again

To: sjfeld@erols.comDear Steve Feld,
Learning About Leonardo sounds like a great site. I took only a quick peek at the main page -but that is all I need since I am well-aware of the wonderful work at ThinkQuest. I don't have an appropriate page on which I can add a link to Learning About Leonardo. But I would like to include a link to it in my March newsletter under "Selected Sites of the Month". We currently have more than 2,200 subscribers.
In the interim, feel free to post a message about Learning About Leonardo on my Interdisciplinary Studies message board at: http://www.mathgoodies.com/private-cgi-bin/interdisciplinary.cgi You can include a link in your post. I noticed that you have a ticker tape message on your main page. I have a JavaScript that includes a PLAY/PAUSE button for this. You can find it at: http://www.bestweb.net/~glosser/js/tickertape.html
I think it would make a nice addition. Once last thing... We are in the process of switching our newsletter to a list-hosting service (Topica). I fear I may forget to include your link in the March 1 newsletter. Could your resend this message to me in mid-February at the following address? newsletter@mathgoodies.com
Best wishes,Gisele Glosser

Dear Steve -
What a wonderful site! We will feature it as one of our web sites of the month. I am not absolutely certain which month: we are doing Black History this month and Women's History next month. Probably I'll shoot for April. I will e-mail you and let you know a few days in advance. I am so impressed with your work and that of your students. Is this based on the Web Quest model?
Best,
Kerry Ann

Dear Mr. Feld,
We at Mountain Grown Technologies, have reviewed hundreds of sites
wishing to receive our award. While our award can be won for a number of
reasons, we generally refuse most of our entrants because we believe our
award is very special. We believe those sites which display our award are
the very best the web has to offer.
We review each web site nominated very thoroughly. In addition to the content supplied by each website, we check functionality, html and many small things that help make a good site an exceptional website.
With all that said, it is my pleasure to award your website with our award for excellence. I will also say that it was a pleasure reviewing your site. Your students are to be commended as there is obviously a lot of hard work involved in your pages. It is also very important as we teach students and bring them into the computer age, that we not neglect the arts. So indeed we praise your site for doing both.
Congratulations, display your award proudly, as your website is among
those that are truly the best the web has to offer.
Sincerely,
James P. Tovey - President

Dear Steve Feld,
We were very happy to publish the press release and we would be even happier to have your project in our project page. We felt that we did not have your permission to feature your project in our project page so we moved the press release to the News section (http://arted.uiah.fi/virtualschool/news). We would be happy to feature your project also in our Project page (http://arted.uiah.fi/virtualschool/projects). We are still doing some heavy changes in our site but the url´s are not going to change. To present your project even better we would like to have a picture that we could add with the text. We would also be very happy to collaborate with you and the project.
Best wishes,
Jukka Orava

Dear Steve,
Isn't the net great? I would be delighted to add your site to mine, which I might add, started out as a collection of resources for literature students who had to combine a history of poetry tutorial with an artist who worked at the same time as the student's chosen poet.
I will be updating tomorrow so you can check on Sunday night( your time!!) I would interested in knowing more about your school.
Regards
Anne Armstrong

Hello. I was impressed by the excellent work your students did on their site. Especially while using 15 year old computers. That alone is something amazing. I receive tons of e-mail from people asking to add their site to KidNet. Very few actually make it.
This one did.
I have already updated the Awesome Sites page to include it. I have taken exerpts from your e-mail for the description. If you have other words which would describe it better please forward them to me & I will change it. I am pleased to see that these students have received so much recognition for their hard work. They deserve it. I'm sure you are very proud of them. Congratulations to you too, for being a great teacher.
