Hi Steve,
Thank you for letting us know of your new exhibit .. Arti FAQ 2100. (The webmaster here claims to wish he had half the talent of these kids.)
Just to let you know (and the kids might enjoy this as well) .. it's a "featured site of the day" on our front page .. (in actuality, these links generally run for 4-7 days) .. as well as a permanent listing in our recommended virtual exhibits area. Listed under art exhibits.

Subject: NYC Beyond 2000 Prizes
Congratulations. It was wonderful meeting everyone yesterday at the Awards
Celebration. I know you are all proud of the excellent achievements of your
students.
We are now making arrangements with the sponsors of the contest for delivery
of your prizes.
Our congratulations to all the teams that submitted work to the NYC
Beyond 2000 Competition. Your students' work reflects the high level of
their achievement.
Several teams have asked to edit their submissions to revise grammar
and/or add missing links, pictures, etc. Now that the winners have been
announced, we would like to give you an opportunity to do so. We encourage
you to make these changes, since your work is posted for the viewing public.
Please contact Prabhu Eapen at peapen@nycboe.net or at 718.935.4045
for assistance. He will be available to help you through Friday, June 30th.

Subject: Good News -- Friends of the Teachers Network,
e-Newsletter #1
Dear Steve,
The good news is you're on our Friends of the Teachers Network e-mail list
as a valued member of our network. We're taking this opportunity to let you
know what we're up to and hoping you'll get back to us with any comments or
suggestions you might have.
First we're in the process of name changes. We're now the Teachers Network
and our website, currently TeachNet.org, will soon-but not quite yet-become
TeachersNetwork.org. IMPACT II is the name of our affiliates who have
adopted our signature grants and networking model. There are now 28!
We've also changed the look of our website which continues to grow
exponentially thanks to our web mentors and award-winning teachers-all
prolific in digital content development. Please check us out at
http://www.teachnet.org if you're not doing so regularly-and let us know
what you think.
We're especially eager to link with other educational websites so if you
have any leads and would like to help "broker" relationships, we'd really
appreciate it.
And, a couple of last things for now:
1) We have an e-curriculum grant opportunity of $500 for elementary school
teachers. Criteria and grant application are available on-line at:
http://www.teachnet.org/curriculum/e-curriculum.htm.
2) All teachers, pre-K-12, are invited to submit material for a new by
teachers, for teachers publication. Its working title is "Your Gateway to
Using the Internet in the Classroom." For more info, teachers can visit:
http://www.teachnet.org/publications/gateway.htm. Deadline for submittals
is July 14, 2000. Honoraria of up to $500 will be available.
