Thanks for the link. I'm sorry about the delay in replying. You can find the link under 'education'. The doorways are very clever. I passed the three questions on the first test, but flunked the second. I started getting a little annoyed at myself. Maybe you could give us the answers somewhere? Not that I'd cheat, of course.
Great work.

Well, I applaud the work of your students and the effort made. and consider it worthy :-) The only feedback I would suggest has to do with Design. Check fonts for ease of reading, font size, bckg texture. etc.
I thought it best to put your links in the area devoted to QUESTS. Click on my site Click on TEACHERS scroll down to Webquests and you'll see.

To: sjfeld@erols.comHello Steve,
I enjoyed your site. Thanks for giving us something different and interesting. I think your students are doing a good job. We have placed a link to your site in the resources section of Teacher Information Network www.teacher.com/ We also placed it in another site of ours Homeschooler Information Network www.homeschooler.com/ in the Organizations and Resources links page. The homeschool kids will find it useful, too.
I do have one concern. A few of your pages are going to a quiz instead of what their link indicates, the Forecast page is an example. Is this something you will be correcting soon? If you do, I am fairly sure I can persuade the selection committee that your site deserves a Teacher Information Network Gold Award. The design is very nice, and the content is excellent. Keep in touch with me about this.
Thanks,
Terry Orr

It took me a while to reply because a) it is a big site to explore and b) I just couldn't work out which superlatives to use when replying.
Your students site is absolutely wonderful, rich, pedagogically interesting and aesthetically vibrant. I was very...nay...extremely... impressed.
It is something I will highlight within the History section of OzEdweb, and with your permission (herein sought) would like to inform the OzTeachers List of. This is a list subscribed to by approx 1500 teachers within Australia.
I would like to convey my congratulations to you and your students for developing such a wonderful site !!!
Best Wishes
Stephen.

Hi, Steve
Your students did an awesome job on their ThinkQuest site. I judged for ThinkQuest last year, but yours was not one on my roster. Your kids putting their real brain power into the project made me jealous ~ sometimes we don't get that far!I did have trouble in some spots though. For example, I never did figure out how to use the mouse to open the doors!! It's probably my lack of brain power given the crazy season we're in.
Pass kudos to your students. Ours, frankly, are just beginning to create web sites here in rural New Mexico.
I'll be updating our school web site over the summer, and Learning About Leonardo shall remain as a feature for our art teachers and students. I'll also point out the ArtiFacts section to both the art teacher as well as others. We just got "wired" this year, so it's a whole new world for us!!
I'm quite impressed by your work ~ and theirs!

To: sjfeld@erols.comDear Steve,
I am amazed at the time and effort your students have put into the site! Has the contest ended or is it ongoing? I enjoyed taking the quizzes and finding the future art gallery. I'm not sure if you are looking for positives and negatives of the site.... I do have some specific suggestions if you are. Just email me back! I think that this would be a great site to upload as an example of an internet project. If you wouldn't mind, I would like to place it in Internet Student Projects at my site.
Good luck and thanks for sharing this site with me!Melissa Kelly

Very nice work by your students. I added a link go it on "implementing a lesson" under the teachers' internet use guide. If you wish to submit a lesson that briefly describes how this was done, and what standards you used, it would be an excellent addition to our lesson bank.
