To:Steve,
Although your Site isn't truly a geography Site, you make a convincing argument on its global appeal. Since the Site was created by students and apparently with international cooperation, and it has been recognized for excellence in a number of different countries, it gives me great pleasure to present you and your students with the Geography World Gold Award."Learning About Leonardo" obviously has appeal to people from many different countries and many different cultures. Learning about other people and other cultures is definitely a geographic experience. I congratulate everyone involved in the creation of "Learning About Leonardo" for their fine efforts. The work has obviously been appreciated by many around the globe.
I wish you all good luck and continued success with "Learning About Leonardo."
Best Wishes,
Brad Bowerman
