Yellowstone Country has the nation;s most extensive snowmobiling trail system. take a few days and see the geysers and hotpots of the Yellowstone national Park. Make the rounds of the most popular snowmobile cities in the nation.
Rough it in the back country in on of 62 public and 40 private campgrounds in Yellowstone Country. Most sites have a parking spur, table, fireplace, water and outhouse. Others provide amenities as boat launches, swimming access, water slides, showers, toilets, laundry facilities, playgrounds and stores. Some sites are accessible to the handicapped or disabled.
All anglers 15 years of age and older are required to obtain a Montana fishing license. Non-resident fishing licenses are available at sporting goods stores and all offices of the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks.. A conservation license is also required. Fishing permits for Yellowstone National Park are $5 for 7 days and $10 for the season. Fishing permits are required and may be obtained at ranger stations, and visitor centers. Built in the tale 1800"s, The Lagoon was the original Water Works Building for Livingston, Montana. Sacajawea Park is nestles under the Absaroka Mountains. The Park offers fishing, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, swimming pools and a large playground area for children with barbecue pits and picnic tables. There is a maintained river- walk path that looks down upon the Yellowstone River. Benches line the way to enjoy the breathtaking views. The Lake, known as The Lagoon, offers an abundance of waterfowl that can be observed and enjoyed year round from our windows. Next to the park is a public golf course that meanders along the Yellowstone Rivers.
