As a auto body repairer, you will replace, repair or straighten damaged car or truck parts such as fenders, doors, hoods, bumpers, and other exterior parts of the vehicle. You will also sandblast, paint and remove dents from automobiles. Some auto body repairers will even repair the interior of vehicles.
WHAT YOU NEED:
To become an auto body repairer, you need a college or university course in automotive technology plus experience working in the automotive repair field. Trade certificates are almost always required.
