As a visiting homemaker you will take care of sick or injured people who wish to remain at home rather than the hospital or a nursing home. Homemakers will also take care of children and people who are bedridden. You will also do basic house cleaning and prepare meals.

To become a visiting homemaker you should complete highschool. You must also have lots of patience and be willing to help people or raise children.
