As a shoe repairer, you will repair customer's footwear by replacing heels, soles and any other parts of the footwear that might be damaged. You will also clean and repair leather items such as shoes or purses. Some shoe repairers will also dye shoes to the customer's choice of colour for special occasions such as weddings.
WHAT YOU NEED:
To become a shoe repairer, an apprenticeship of 2 to 3 years is usually required.
