PARAMEDIC

As a paramedic, you will provide medical care to sick or injured people while they are transported to hospitals. You will need to apply bandages, splints and administer CPR if necessary. You may also need to provide care for patients during air ambulance flights.

WHAT YOU NEED:

To become a paramedic, you must first be able to work with sick or injured people and be willing to help them. You should complete high school and have a hospital based medical technology program or courses related to emergency care. You will require practical training, certification, and a emergency vehicle license.

$26,000 to $28,000
