METEOROLOGIST

As a meteorologist, you will usually work for a television station and you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting satelite imagery and computer models to forecast the weather. You will research weather patterns and climates and how they are being affected by global warming etc.

WHAT YOU NEED:

To become a meteorologist, you will need a bachelor or master of science degree in meteorology or a closely related field. Training for meteorology is usually provided by the Atmospheric Environment Service. You will also require a doctoral degree if you plan to be a research scientist in meteorology.

SALARY:
$48,000 to $52,000
