As a laboratory technologist, you will conduct laboratory experiments. You will either test and analyze human blood, tissues and other organs or you will develop medicines and vaccines to combat disease. Most laboratory technologists work in private labs however many work in hospitals.

WHAT YOU NEED:

To become a laboratory technologist, you will need a bachelor of science degree or a college medical technologists program. You will also require certification and supervised on the job training.
