DIETITIAN

As a dietitian, you will supervise food preparation in commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, and other places. You will plan therapeutic diets and menus for hospital patients, restaurants etc. You may also be hired as a consultant for government agencies, private companies etc. in the area of food selection and nutrition.

WHAT YOU NEED:

To become a dietitian, you will need a bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition or some other science that is related to food. Usually employers provide training courses and supervised training. Certification is required.

SALARY:
$32,000 to $34,000
