LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

As a landcape architect, your job is similar to that of a architect who designs buildings. However, landscape architects plan and design the landscaping of parks and other outside public areas, subdivisions, and building grounds. The plans you design will include trees, shrubs, walkways, patios, lighting and fences.

WHAT YOU NEED:

To become a landscape architect, you will need a university degree in landscape architecture. You will also require at least 7 years of landscaping experience either as a worker or supervisor. A college landscape architecture diploma will also be accepted by most employers. Licensing is required in some areas.
