As a desktop publisher you will be responsible for using computers to design, create and lay out camera-ready and digital copy that will be used for magazines, brochures, manuals, books, newsletter and any printed materials. Computer graphics will also be used to add creativity and originality to printed materials.

WHAT YOU NEED:

To become a desktop publisher, high school completion is necessary. You can take a college graphic arts program or have extensive experience using computers, graphics programs and typography. Experience in desktop publishing is an asset.
